In late May, 2008, I posted a blog--a 2,800-word rant, actually, exhaustively researched, footnoted and all--claiming that cancer had actually been cured, and that a wide conspiracy, headed by the American Cancer Society, was responsible for the cover-up. Here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/ybwozaw.
It started off like this:
From an economic perspective, the American Cancer Industry has the perfect business model. Chemical and pharmaceutical companies make immense profits from selling carcinogenic chemicals that enter, or are intentionally put into, our food, water, air, clothing or housing, then make more profits by manufacturing and selling expensive, inefficient and toxic drugs to treat the cancers and other diseases promoted by their own products, not to mention the additional drugs to make the side-effects of the primary drugs bearable.
To make the scam perfect, they let the taxpayer fund their research into new ways to not cure cancer while still selling the resulting drugs at obscene profits. To insure that the public remains blissfully unaware of the true facts concerning cancer, they have set up front groups like the American Cancer Society to spread disinformation in the name of cancer education, while their puppet agency in government, the FDA, is fighting an aggressive turf war to keep effective alternative treatments off the market.
I'd recently spent several hours on a Northwest Airlines flight seated next to a renowned oncologist, who shared with me a briefcase full of charts and graphs that he claimed documented cancer survival rates in the U. S. compared to those in several foreign countries. The message? If I were to be diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, I ought to head to someplace like Cuba or Albania--CUBA? ALBANIA?--if I wanted to maximize my life expectancy.
The blog/rant attracted no attention in the Blogosphere. Until yesterday, when a gentleman named Ed Conrad submitted this comment:
As you can see, I've removed your question mark from the headline in the article above. Now it's NOT Cancer Cure Cover-Up? but, instead, Cancer Cure Coverup.
Cancer researchers with integrity would have won the war long, long ago. Yet millions upon million upon millions of people keep dying in physical and mental agony because, instead of integrity, there is nothing but deceit, deception, collusion and conspiracy.
In the early 1950s, Senator Joseph McCarthy was famous for his aggressive anti-communist stance and speeches in which he claimed to possess long lists of names of communists in the State department, the military and elsewhere in government.
He used the muscle of his chairmanship of the Senate Committee on Government Operations and its Permanent Committee on Investigations. Consequently, McCarthy destroyed the careers of many by claiming--falsely--that they had belonged to communist front organizations or associated with communists.
McCarthy's success had much to do with the fact that--as Harvard law dean Erwin Griswold put it--he was "judge, jury, prosecutor, castigator and press agent, all in one."
But at one of the Senate hearings, McCarthy finally was put in his place by Attorney Joseph Welch who was representing Fred Fisher, a young lawyer, who was falsely accused of being a traitor. "Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness,", Welsh told him. "Senator, you've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"
From the moment of Welch's blistering comment--seen on live television--McCarthy's reputation started to crumble and soon collapsed. Eventually, he was censured by his Senate colleagues. When he died three years later after a period of alcohol abuse, he was a broken man.
Never was there a better example to show that sometimes one person, without any assistance, is able to help conquer.
Indeed, the "war on cancer" is one of the most costly conspiracies (both in terms of money and human suffering) that has ever been perpetrated on mankind.
It should've been won long ago, yet millions upon millions continue to die after years of physical and mental agony because they're neither people nor numbers but, instead, stacks of $1,000 dollar bills.
The victims have been--and still are--sacrificial lambs to deceit, deception, collusion and conspiracy by the healthcare and pharmaceutical corporations as well as their stooges in the medical industry.
Either cancer researchers are not interested in finding a cure-- possibly even a preventative--because of their desire to protect their vested interests and keep those healthy paychecks coming despite soft, cushy, do-nothing jobs.
Or, quite possibly, they are well aware that a cure already exists but is stored in some dusty vault in the darkest corner of the basement, never again to see the light of day.
The enlightening article above--and others like it by courageous individuals like Laurence Harmon--is a tribute to the God-fearing men and women in medicine who have refused to sell their souls by being a participant in what indeed is a crime against humanity.
