There's a tendency to think of "Alzheimer's Disease" and "dementia" interchangeably.  Fact is, however, that people who are suffering with dementia are not victims of Alzheimer's.  Indeed, Alzheimer's Disease accounts for about one-half to three-quarters of dementia cases; the remainder are due to blood vessel disease, stroke, and other ailments that affect the brain.

Great Places, Inc. continues to grow in both customers and viewership.  We hit our highest 30-day total in October with 5347 visitors.  Our visitors came from every state, viewed more than 25,000 pages while on the site.  Nearly 90 percent of them were new customers!  Not surprisingly, the hot search topics continue to be in-home health care, assisted living and independent living.

National study concludes millions can benefit from cholesterol-lowering drugs--statins--even if they have low cholesterol levels.
